This little ensemble is for my brother’s new son — so weird to say that. The sweater is the One-Piece Baby Kimono from Mason-Dixon Knitting. I got the organic cotton yarn on sale last year. I intended to make the urchins summer sweaters. It was the perfect yarn for this little kimono. The pants are navy-blue linen trimmed with a milk bottle cap print. I sewed grosgrain ribbon to the sweater for the ties and added a bit of the ribbon with a snap on the inside edge too. Everything is newborn sized so hopefully I’ll get to see the little guy in it soon.
