Today was Katrina’s last day of preschool. Not just the last day of the year but her last day of preschool EVER. How did that happen? I asked her and she said, Mommy, I grew. Yes you have my sweet girl. Papa’s been out of town this week — he swooped in for Wednesday’s graduation ceremony — wine-ing and dining early in the week and enjoying some testosterone in Indianapolis now. All of it work related. My work this week has mostly involved snotty noses. So sorry for the absence. I have a quilt top I really want to show you but I cannot get a decent photo — I’ve tried three times — so I think I’m just going to wait for the better photographer to get home. Have a great weekend everybody, see you next week.

it’s hard to see those big milestones pass, isn’t it? at least papa got to be there for it, too.
can’t wait to see the quilt. they are not easy things to photograph.
oh, i cried last year when kate left preschool. big fat tears. i’ll probably cry next week when she is finished with kindergarten, too. i did with jane. time does fly a little too fast sometimes.
Oh, what a cute graduate! I bet you even made her dress and bracelet, too! I hear the pride in your writing.
I’m right there with you!
Congratulations on the graduation!!!
Very sweet. I bet you can’t believe preschool is OVER – didn’t you just enroll her a few weeks ago?! My how time flies…
I bet Katie is excited for Kindergarten. It’s always that way -we’re sad that they are growing up and they don’t think they’re growing up fast enough.
