This was just too hysterical not to share even though you are getting a glimpse of my filthy oven. This morning while I was doing something I heard the pitter patter of little feet and Katrina saying, Mommy, uh-oh. followed by the sound of splashing. I think to myself, must have left the door to the pantry — a converted laundry room — open and Tristan must be in the dog’s water bowl again — this happens often. I walk over there and yes, he is playing in the water bowl — don’t worry, I wash his hands after these episodes — but what’s this? he has yarn? a full skein that he is washing in the dog’s bowl? EEEK! At least it was superwash. Now, you may be asking yourself, what does this have to do with the oven? No, I did not attempt to bake the yarn to dry it. But really, where else could I put a skein of sopping wet yarn to dry that would be out of the climber‘s hands? I just need to remember to take it out before dinner.

Ha Ha. Glad to know I’m not the only one fighting with a child to stay out of the pet’s water dish. But Brenna likes to add the cat food in there and “cook” me dinner!
BTW, that’ a pretty color of yard!
Very funny! Josh used to eat dry dog food – all the time.
That oven looks squeaky clean to me!
If you forget this could be bad because I hid dishes in the other oven before the cleaning lady came this morning.
ha! it’s a lovely photo, too!
okay, this is too cute…..love it……….thanks for giving me a good laugh! i needed one today!!
that’s too funny.
(and I could show you a filthy oven….)
