Fairy in My Garden

Fairy in my Garden

Another nightgown. I amused Katrina at the fabric store one day by telling her she could pick anything she wanted from the clearance cottons for nightgowns. She picked all kinds of stuff and this pink was one of her choices. This time there are no ruffles. The armholes and hem are finished with rolled edges and the neckline with bias tape that creates a pocket to allow a ribbon for adjusting the neck, a la Le Bouton’s petit somme dress — thanks Martha for the link. And thanks to Grace for the inspiration for the flowers.

The nightgown is lovely. And her flowers in her hair to die for…

Can I have one of both? (for myself!)

That little nightgown is so cute it could pass for a very pretty summer dress.
