Both jackets arrived on Friday from Uniform Studio. Can I tell you how much I love Martha. She makes exquisite garments. Exquisite. And, she is a wonderfully kind, generous, intelligent person who I feel like I’ve gotten to know, if only a little bit. She’s an architect and a mom when she’s not designing clothing. The other day she posted a photo of some hand-dyed cotton yarn. I commented how nice it was and wouldn’t you know when I opened the box of my purchases from her Spring collection there was not one, but all three skeins for me. Thank you Martha, so much, for the yarn and for keeping my kids looking so smart. There are still a few items left in her shop, including more Fleur coats.
