Between the great study clean out of 2007 and reading about all the meal planning going on out there I decided it was time to start injecting some new meals into the Chez Poulbot menu rotation. I mean we have — had — something like 60+ cookbooks. Some of them have never been used, not once. So, I’ve committed myself to making some new recipes and tonight we started with Lemon Chicken with Croutons by Ina Garten from Barefoot in Paris. Yummy, there’s a reason that lady has a tv show.

yum. that sounds fabulous! and that lovely picture makes me feel like cooking.
Nothing beats Ina Garten. Looks like you are up for a delicious dinner! Enjoy!
Wow, I need to do more of that kinda cooking. Makes a change from Chicken Tonight!

good luck! i do like sitting down every Sunday morning with some coffee and planning out my menus for the week. even if its something like, on tuesday i think i’ll just have pasta with sauce cause i know i’ll be busy. it cuts down on waste, grocery shopping time, and your cupboards can always stay stocked with essentials because part of the planning involves actually looking through your cupboards.
i think menu planning with a glass of wine sounds like a mighty good idea too!
