So I know the rule — only one picture. And today my only real excuse is that I love the color red if for no other reason than it’s the complement to my favorite color, green — mysteriously left out of color week. Oh, and I also was up in the night with a sick six-month old baby and I’m too bleary-eyed to decide which photo I like best. Is it okay now??
The knitting is a sweater, made my mother-in-law, the baskets are made from madrone burl by Christian Burchard — we are lucky enough to own a few pieces of his art — and the shoes belonged to my daughter when she was about eight-months old — she’s three now.
Three different reds for this, the last day of color week 2.
Thanks Stephanie and Mav for the inspiration for Color Week #2.
